APPLICATIONS FOR 2026 ARE OPEN.

We are excited to announce an open call for artists to submit their proposals for consideration in the Cheuka Harare Art Fair, taking place from 17 – 19 November 2026.

This year’s edition will place special emphasis on artist-run initiatives, collectives and residency programmes, highlighting their role in shaping contemporary African art and fostering collaboration across borders. It also invites art collectors to showcase their collection as they have preserved a certain period of cultural history in art that we can relate and learn from.

This will see the contemporary art platform empowering the communities that create the art, part of a broader continental and global shift within the art community that sees those directly involved in creating also being at the forefront of how their stories are told in the mainstream. While having only hosted our inaugural edition in February 2025, the fair has already established itself as a vital platform for the art sector.
